fxdx Protocol Characteristics
The fxdx exchange ("fxdx") is a protocol that enables decentralized derivatives trading using virtual automated market maker (vAMM) technology. This significantly broadens the application possibilities of vAMMs and enables perpetual contracts. Which facilitates exchanges and settles derivatives without any third-party intermediaries or centralized entities that govern operations.
The fxdx exchange is a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol, based on multiple blockchains and has the following properties:
  • Can support any asset with a price feed
  • Trade with a leverage of up to 100x
  • Trading is fully non-custodial and on-chain
  • Trustless architecture
  • Built-in governance
  • Zero impermanent loss due to price fluctuation
  • TWAP is used to compute the funding rate at funding time (every hour)
The fxdx protocol uses a well-defined system. Users can attach their existing wallets to our platform and directly deposit USDC. Zero impermanent loss is achieved by storing the staked tokens within the smart contract vault, rather than being used in a liquidity pool in the vAMM.
