Multi-Chain
While it is very common for projects to exist on only one blockchain, an alternative approach is multi-chain projects. In terms of technologies that utilize blockchain, a multi-chain project is the deployment of a project on multiple blockchains. Rather than a project being deployed on just one singular blockchain. Assets can be transferred between independent blockchains through the application of multi-chain.
In order for multi-chains to interact effectively there must be a bridge which exists between them. The gap between independent blockchains is eliminate by a cross-chain solution. This makes multi-chain platforms and projects feasible.
This approach is being deployed by fxdx, utilizing two blockchains rather than just one. In regards to this multi-chain approach, both Binance and Algorand blockchains are being employed. Eventually, fxdx will implement more blockchains in addition to Binance and Algorand.
